How to Apply

Please check the following steps before applying.
Please note that we cannot change/replace the photos and videos you submitted once you complete the entry.

STEP 1

Please proceed to e-mail address registration by choosing the category on the TOP page that you wish to apply for.

STEP 2
Entry form notification

An e-mail with the subject [iCON Z: (*name of the category) Entry Form Notification] with the URL of the entry form will be sent to the e-mail address you registered in STEP1.

  • The e-mail may be marked as spam.
  • If you do not receive our notification e-mail, please check your SPAM folder.
  • If you couldn't find the e-mail after checking the above, it is likely due to your domain-specific reception settings or the security settings of your mobile carrier. Please change your email setting so you can receive messages from [@icon-z.jp].
STEP 3
Fill out the entry form

Please submit the required contents and items listed below.
The required contents and items are as follows. Please be sure to check before applying.

  • 2 photos (1 upper-body and 1 full-body)
  • Performance video
  • Song title
  • Artist name
  • Your name
  • Furigana/another spelling if applicable
  • Gender
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Date of birth
  • Age (will be calculated automatically)
  • Place of Birth (City/Country)
  • Address (Postal code, Prefecture/City, Street number)
  • Occupation
  • Mobile phone number
  • Your social media
  • Agency history
  • Career history
  • Dance experience/genre(s)
  • Instrument(s) you play / experience
  • Questionnaire about the project you wish to join after passing the selection (*Male candidates only)
  • Portrait rights consent
  • Consent for the use of personal information
  • Parental consent (*only for minors)
STEP 4
Confirmation

Once you complete STEP3, a confirmation page will be displayed. Please double-check for any mistakes.
If there are no mistakes, click on [Complete Entry] to submit.

STEP 5
Entry completed

An e-mail with the subject [iCON Z: (*name of the category) Entry – Notice of Completion] will be sent to the e-mail address you registered in STEP1, which confirms that you have successfully completed the entry.

About performance video
Vocal
  • You have up to 1 minute to perform a song of your choice. You can choose whether to sing acapella, karaoke style, or sing your own original song.
    A video longer than 1 minute cannot be uploaded.
  • Please submit a video with your face clearly visible, without wearing a hat, sunglasses, or mask.
Rap
  • You have up to 1 minute to perform a song of your choice. You can choose whether to sing acapella, karaoke style, or sing your own original song.
    A video longer than 1 minute cannot be uploaded.
  • Please submit a video with your face clearly visible, without wearing a hat, sunglasses, or mask.
Dance
  • You have up to 1 minute to do a dance performance of your choice.
    A video longer than 1 minute cannot be uploaded.
  • Please submit a video with your face clearly visible, without wearing a hat, sunglasses, or mask.
Other notes
  • You can apply only once for each category.
  • You can enter multiple categories.
  • What you submitted in the process of this audition cannot be returned.
  • LDH JAPAN Inc. will hold rights over all the recordings, photos, and videos related to this audition, as well as the documents submitted (please note that the audition may be aired on TV or video distribution services).
  • Personal information used in this audition will be collected, used and managed appropriately in accordance with the personal information protection policy of LDH JAPAN Inc.
  • We do not accept inquiries regarding the audition result.
  • Depending on your internet connection, it may take some time to upload your video. Please make sure to connect your device to a stable wi-fi.
  • We cannot change/replace the photos and videos you submitted once you complete the entry.
  • We do not accept your application if you are under/over the age limit specified in the application guidelines.
  • Minors need parental consent. Make sure to have your guardian's consent before applying.
  • If you are signed to a specific agency, production company, or label, be sure to apply with approval from such agency, production company, or label. We will not take any responsibility for the consequences if you apply without consent.
  • Since this audition puts everyone's safety as the top priority, it may be postponed or canceled due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection. PCR tests may be conducted during the audition period in the second screening and following processes depending on the circumstances. Please note that you may be asked to abandon the audition for your safety and for that of the other participants if you test positive for COVID-19.
